Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actress who has been praised for her leading roles in a variety of television shows and for her enthralling performances in movies. She's popular in both Canadian as well as American television. Emily began to become interested after she saw her sibling Katie working on a film. When Emily realized her love for acting, she took acting classes and attended auditions. The first time she was cast, she appeared in commercials, but she was not cast until being offered a role on the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You Fearful of Darkness? It was the only scene where she was unable to talk. Her first major break at 15, when she got a role as a regular on The WB show Glory Days. Emily's acting skills caught the attention to Dawson's Creek's Greg Berlanti, who then made her a part of his television show Everwood. Additionally, a dancer and a photographer Emily was previously ranked by Teen in their list of top actors under 20. Maxim listed her at 51 in its Hot 100 of 2014.
