Melina Kannakaredes was raised in New York city. She's appeared in Dr. Sydney Hansen (NBC) and The Resident's Dr. Lane Hunter (The Resident) two medical dramas on TV. The actress also won acclaim for her television debut breakthrough in the role of Eleni Andros Cooper on the CBS soap opera Guiding Light. Some of her notable films are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life by Elisabeth Kubler Ross, the author of the Immortals film Immortals will be adapted to the large-screen.
