Felicity is a British actress that gained notoriety for her role as Jane Hawking, the protagonist in The Theory of Everything. Jones was an actress since she was twelve, has been featured in numerous TV shows and films. Her professional career began in the TV film The Treasure Seekers. Her next role was that on Ethel Hallow another television show named The Worst Witch and its sequel Weirdsister College. Her first feature film Flashbacks of a Fool she was Young Ruth and went on to appear in a variety of films. She gained popularity for her performance in films like The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. It was however her character as the wife of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything' that won her an Oscar nomination the very first time. Jones' portrayal as Stephen Hawking's spouse in the biopic, which is based on the life of Stephen Hawking, was widely loved by critics and viewers. Inferno the film, which was which was a Tom Hanks thriller was her following film. In 2016 the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles selected Jones in the category of British Artist of The Year because of her talents and contribution to the cinema.
