Felicity is a British actress known for her performance as Jane Hawking, the protagonist of The Theory of Everything. Jones began her acting career at age of 12, and has appeared in many plays, TV shows as well as films. Her acting career started with the television show The Treasure Seekers. In the following years, she was on the show as on Ethel Hallow another television show named The Worst Witch and its sequel Weirdsister College. She also played Young Ruth in her first film Flashbacks of a Fool and later on, she starred in many movies. The actress gained acclaim for her performances in films such as The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. But it was her performance for the character of The Theory of Everything' that earned her an Oscar nomination the first time. It was a biopic based on the personal life of physicist Stephen Hawking, and Jones was lauded by both viewers and critics for her impeccable portrayal of Hawking's initial wife. Inferno was her third film in which she starred Tom Hanks. A group of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles awarded Jones as the British Artist of the Year in the year 2016 because of her outstanding ability and contribution to the world of cinema.
